I ended up at the rental office a few hours earlier and the car just pulled in front of the office and I was told that I have to wait 2 more hours when the car was sitting in front of the office. My mam was waiting for me on a bus stop in a different town in the same time. I would appreciate more flexibility when possible.

She was doing everything very quick but it seams that the system for returning takes longer time. We spent over an hour to return a car and we missed the airplane . For example in the USA I just have to drop off the keys of the rental car in a drop off box and keep going.

Last time I got opel mocka the I liked much better as a brand.
This Citroen C3 had over 110 k kilometers and was getting burned oil smell when I was going uphill.

When I picked up the car the windscreen and rear window were not clean. After driving 80 kilometres the oil warning light came on and stayed on. I therefore went to OMV garage where assistant looked at dipstick and Paid to have oil top up. two more times the oil warning light came on. I checked dipstick when cold and the car was over filled with oil. There was clearly a fault on the oil light indicator. Also the lane control indicator activated many times although I was in the middle of the driving lane. This was slightly annoying.

I was advised that I could have picked a car without the advertising for a higher price. The advertising is ok but the decals on the rear windscreen obscure the view and are potentially dangerous. i will not rent such a car again.

We have rented from Top Rent A Car in Sofia several times and have always been very satisfied with their service. They offer very affordable prices and provide nearly new cars that are always in excellent condition.
One of the things we particularly appreciate is the flexibility with insurance options. You can purchase premium insurance directly from them or choose a slightly cheaper option through a third-party provider. Their unlimited mileage policy is another great advantage. During one of our rentals, we even drove to North Macedonia with their car after arranging and agreeing on it in advance, and everything went smoothly.
A special thank you goes to Nikolay Kostadinov, who has been excellent every time we dealt with him. He is friendly, professional, and never pushes customers to buy more expensive products or services. Instead, he explains everything clearly and transparently. The guy is a real treasure and a great representative of the company.
Top Rent A Car is a very fair, customer-focused company that genuinely cares about its clients. We highly recommend them and will definitely continue using their services whenever we visit Bulgaria.

We would also like to thank Yoakim Osichenko for his outstanding customer service. We mistakenly misread the fuel gauge and returned the car with less fuel than required. Yoakim took the time to explain what had happened and why, and despite our mistake, he did not charge us any additional fees. That level of fairness and understanding is rare and highly appreciated.

The car is small and economical, with very good fuel consumption. However, if you need to accelerate quickly, it takes some time to build up speed. Overtaking can be a bit challenging, especially on faster roads, as the car is equipped with a 1.0L engine. That said, for city driving and general everyday use, it performs well and is very cost-effective to run.
