After I picked up the car at Burgas airport, I ntoiced about half an hour later that there was warning text on the screen, saying that tyre pressures need checking and the check-up needs initialising. Obviously I did not want to drive with unsafe tyre pressures, so I pulled into a shop carpark and tried telephoning for help by ringing the number given on the plastic cover of the car documents. It was an automated system which kept me waiting on and on, hopeless. I then found the number of the Burgas airport office and spoke with the man who gave me the car, who said that there was nothing to worry about. All in all I spent almost two hours just sitting and waiting until I was given the all clear. The car was good, all was well all through my hire period, but the same warning was on the screen all the time! What would have happened if some tyre pressure had really gone down, and I would have continued to carry on as if all was normal!?! Anyway, the person at Varna airport when I returned the car was excellent in every way.

This automatic car is even more automatic than I expected - it turns the lights on when it notices that it is needed! The remote key never even needs to come out of your handbag/pocket, because the car unlocks itself when you come near, and locks itself when you walk away. Also it is very comfortable to sit in, and the little ledge for your left foot is just right. I enjoyed my time with this nippy little car very much!

When the dates were set for our rental period, either we or the agent made a mistake in the date of return of the car. We were leaving Bulgaria from Bourgas airport on June 4 so naturally wanted the car until that time. We never noticed that the date on the rental agreement was June 3. We were contacted by the call centre on June 4 asking about the return of the car. We explained and said we would pay the extra day but would leave the car back at an earlier time on June 4 to facilitate the next renter. However, when we returned the car we were charged a penalty of two days rental on top of the extra day for which we had agreed. When we queried this we were told that we would be refunded €10. This was a genuine mistake and we do not believe there should have been a penalty. We used your company in Bulgaria before but after this experience we would not be so quick to commit to your company.
