The service has got a lot busier since we started using it over 6 years. It seems to have lost that personal service and the prices don't seem as compaetative now with other comapnies offering better insurance deals.

Not very friendly
He tried to tell us we had not filled up but we took the car back with more petrol in than when we got it. He upset me with his attitude.

Hello there!
I rented a Chev Captiva auto Diesel for 3 days through your website, however the day before travel, was forced to change it to a corolla over the phone. Lucky I did not have 7 people to transport that day and we were only 3, but could have been different. According to your T&C you should have provided a similar 4X4 or a higher spec. The corolla was a pain getting in and out. I normally drive a crossover 4X2 and its got a higher seating. I asked for a diesel was provided by petrol. When I asked to speak to a manager the person behind the counter was not cooperative and wouldn't refer me to manager in spite of asking her a few times.
Regards
Hanson

The car was in good condition and nearly new. We were met promptly at the airport and the system worked well from beginning to end. Staff were polite and friendly. So why only three stars? Previously we rented through an agent, which works well. This time we booked direct. So when we arrived at the registration desk we were persuaded that the car was not insured if we were responsible in an accident. So we had to pay an extra £100 for cover. Never had to do this anywhere else before. I recommend booking through a third party for security.
Top Rent A Car:
Dear Mr. Jeffery,
Please, bear in mind that when you make your booking through our partners, they automatically add the additional insurance and the price is higher. When you made your booking directly with us, on the third step of the booking process the Full protection insurance was offered for you, but you have rejected it. Standard insurance CDW+TP reduces your liability in case of damage of the vehicle up to the amount of the deposit. The Full protection insurance should be signed by your own desire.
Kind Regards,
Top Rent A Car Team
